A Few Hearts and Tea

Hobonichi Techo planner
with pen and watercolor ~
a few hearts to begin the
month of February. This little
"Angel of the grapevine wings"
drawing is about 3 inches high...
The actual doll is one that I made
quite a few years ago.

Just a quick cup of tea to say
hello to my pals for T Tuesday.
Working on the pages of this
little planner is quite different
form working on large journal
pages...but both have their
advantages!  'Mixing it up'
in terms of what we do and
how we do it, is a good thing!
What are you mixing up today?

  3. Wish I had been as arty today - I guess I mixed up my food, though, marrying Polish fried cabbage pirogi with a Mexian tortilla and some Italian bolognese sauce... ;-) . Happy T-Day!

  4. As always, your art is wonderful, and your calendar is starting off on a good note. I love the peppermint tea, the clever and colorful mug, and the little tea bag tag sticking out of the mug.

Your little folk art angel is different and unique. It seems to be a bit out of your normal art subjects. Looks like our temps were relatively the same this morning, except I woke to rain and fog.

Thanks for sharing your calendar and your beautiful mug of tea with us for T this Tuesday.

  5. Mixing things up describes lots of my time as I seem to flit from this to that and back again ;-)
Working smaller is a thing all unto itself...what a sweet little angel you created.
Bet the kids will be wild about their special Valentines
Happy T Day and Happy February Dianne oxo

  6. Love your little ragdoll angel. It must be very different to draw on such a small page. You did a really good job.
I've never got the gist of Valentine's day. They don't celebrate it here and I always thought that it was something you sent or gave your sweetheart...(not grandchildren lol)
    Thanks for commenting earlier and
    Have a good week,
    Lisca

  7. Your art is great today!!! I used to do small scale all the time and loved it . Now when I try I struggle with it so I guess I need to do it more often :) Hoping big time that you share the Star Wars Valentines with us, they sound so fun :)

  8. I already see Valentine themed art here. I'm yet to do something related to it. Hope you get to update your album. I've still got the journaling part to complete.
    Wish you a great week

  11. These are great. I would have a hard time working in a hobonichi because of the thin paper, but I have seen people who do all kinds of wonderful art in them using carefully chosen dry mediums. Happy T-Day! :)

  13. Hello Dianne, Happy T Day and February!! So happy to see your artwork, a new way is always fun and yours looks wonderful as always!!

How are you? How is the weather? Did you get a lot of snow in the last snow we got? We got about a foot and that was plenty for me. Enjoying the warmper temps this week along with wind. I'm not linked up today, just wanted to stop and say hello. My computer has been down for 2 weeks, it's not good news. Hope you are doing well, take care and see you soon. HUGS!!!
