I received a delightful piece of mail art
recently, from my friend Halle
of Halle's Hobbies blog.
It was a completely unanticipated
Smile that arrived on a day
when I really needed it!
It's quite large, about 4 inches high
by 5 1/2 inches wide, and was sent
through the mail as is, no envelope.
The back of the mail art shows the
surface of the original puzzle art, which I
assume is a child's floor puzzle.
I love the Aloha stamp!
Halle's captions always make me smile...
how did she know I needed one that day?
Sweet little flowers over text
are joyful additions of color.
Thanks, Halle, for the Smile!
You are oh so welcome. Glad it came at the right time for you. Isn't it wonderful how those things happen.
ReplyDeleteOh Dianne, this is adorable. Good for Halle. She's a real sweetie and you deserve a smile, too.
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely job you did showcasing Halle's fab puzzle piece...
ReplyDelete(I too received a Halle original puzzle postcard and could not have been more tickled to see it in our mailbox...a perfect RAK in every way!!!)

This is so funny! Apparently I was logged into my hubby's google account when I commented. Darn iPad.
ReplyDeleteAnyway...sorry for the confusion...
How cool is that?! I can't believe she could send it right through the mail. Makes me want to experiment with some unexpected mail!
ReplyDeleteTHIS is too good. I am amazed it made it through the post office. I love USPS so much. It's amazing how accurate they are. I've only lost a couple of things in all my years, and they weren't even art pieces. I have big puzzle pieces to alter, but I never thought of mailing them. Maybe we should do a swap? Yay to Halle!
