The Documented Life Project,
Week 48:
"Show how you are thankful
in a creative way." This is a
traditional harvest illustration that
I did in extra fine-point Sharpie and
watercolors. Though the image doesn't
portray it literally, I am most thankful
for my sweet family!
Sharing tea today with the T Tuesday gang
over at Elizabeth's blog...
I loved the illustration on the packaging for this
tea, but have to admit that the illustration is
better than the taste of the tea. I normally
get herbal decaf flavors, but the only
pumpkin flavored option was caffeinated.
It's almost gone...what should I try next?
Love this vintage post card...

Your DLP page looks lovely. I'm yet to do this week's challenge.
ReplyDeleteHappy T DAY
Love your page done with watercolor and Sharpies! I don't drink tea often but at the moment when i do its Good Earth brand Original Sweet and Spicy . Its caffeine free and quite yummy! :) Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs! deb

I was telling Susan that I had no intention of ever joining DLP, because that was for REAL artists like you and her. Your page is gorgeous, and I love the iconic autumn scenario.
ReplyDeleteI might actually like that tea. I sure like the picture on the front of the box. And please don't ask me to suggest tea brands, because if it isn't caffeinated, I probably won't like it (grin). Not sure if Hibiscus tea has caffeine, but I will be looking for some soon.
That's a lovely post card. I thought you had created it before I read where it came from.
Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving tea, your lovely DLP page, and your lovely wishes for T this Tuesday. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving, too, dear friend.
Hello and Happy T Day! I like your DLP, always nice to see your pages and prompts. I'm so thankful for my family and blessings this year.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited about Sienna's scrapbook, she had so much fun. I had to get a picture of her with it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving friend. hugs!
Ooh, I'm a sucker for anything Pumpkin Spice, so that tea looks good to me. In fact, when I was baking gingersnaps today, I put pumpkin pie spice in place of the allspice, and the cookies turned out yummy.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy T-giving on Thursday!
I love your thankful art and your interesting choice for tea!
ReplyDeleteYour illustration ist gorgeous! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI've never had that pumpkin tea. My favorite tea bag right now is Mighty Leaf brand Chamomile Citrus. The Bigelow brand Constant Comment tea is the one I've been drinking longest, and it's a delight. Can't go wrong trying either of those. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with all the artistic challenges. I just sit in awe.
Your illustration for PL is just beautiful! Afraid I am no help with tea...I have (?Stash)Pumpkin Spice, but I don't really care for it.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Belated T-day wishes Dianne, and thank you for stopping by for tea while I was busy cleaning and cleaning.......LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely comment too.
Pumpkin flavored drinks just don't appeal to me for some reason, and I love pumpkin pie.
Since I am not a tea drinker I have NO suggestions as what you should try next.
Awesome DLP page. We all have much to be thankful for and it's amazing how much we have, once we start listing them.
Happy Thanksgiving Dianne!
Happy Thanksgiving fab sketch
ReplyDeleteLovely artwork! Pumpkin tea doesn't sound the least appealing to me, though--LOL! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Belated T-Day! :)
