Valentines

Valentine for my grandson~
modeled on a popular video game Halo figure.
Sharpie pen and watercolor.
This was a challenge, but really liked
the way it turned out!

Valentine for my granddaughter~
she is taking tap/jazz dance lessons
for the first time, and loves it.  Sharpie
pen and watercolor.  The dancer's outfit
is pale pink, but doesn't show
up very well on my monitor.

Hope you have a colorful,
Happy Valentine's Day!

  2. Happy Valentine's Day! Isn't it fun making valentines for little ones? The bottom collage with fabric is so beautiful.

  3. Ah yes Master Chief. Awesome job!! I'll have to show my boy....that's of course after he extricates himself from the video game world.

  4. So where have I been the last three days? Why watching basketball, of course. Now that the All-Star weekend is over, I can get back to visiting. And THANKING. Yes, thanking YOU for the lovely postcard I received. Not sure when it came (probably Saturday, since I was still in the "real" world on Friday), but I only picked it up this morning because everything else sort of blurs when I'm focused on B'ball. But wanted to say how MUCH I love it, and thanks so much for thinking of me. What a joy and treat.

Your cards to your grandees are wonderful. You are not just thoughtful, but put so much of YOU into these cards, including attention to detail, great drawing, and knowledge of your recipient. Beautiful art and SO thoughtful and heartfelt.

Happy extremely belated Valentine's Day. I hope it was as special for you as you made it for your grandees and me.
