My index cards for June 30 through July 7, 2011
Stop by DaisyYellow's blog to see other participant's
index cards, or to join the challenge!
I have found that it is easier for me to
do several cards in a sitting, rather than
one per day. But I am trying to stick to 'one a day'
in order to make art every day.
Index cards are a great 'warm up' exercise.
Then I often move on to another project or
my art journal pages...
Wow, you can draw! Love the tea party card. I, too, tend to do several in one sitting. I need to go back and look at your older posts...
ReplyDeleteI was most impressed by the perspective card. I never really KNEW how to tell where the light is until you made it easy to understand. This should be in an art book or art handbook someplace. Very, very detailed and informative. Of course, the other index cards aren't too shabby, either (grin)!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all of these, but I'm a tea lover so the Tea Party gets the favorite vote.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! I really love the tea party card and the one about light and shadow.

Dianne, thanks for your comments on my blog. I love your index cards! Sounds like a great way to warm up and be creative on a daily bases. I might try this challenge after I'm done with the 30 Days. I look forward to seeing your future work and taking time to read up on your older posts. I agree, I love Teesha Moore - she is so inspiring!

ReplyDeletethank you to all! it's funny...the 'perspective' card was my least favorite, and E likes it the best! glad you are enjoying them.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome cards! I love all of them, especially the top one with the face and the tea party. Oh and I got a kick out of you using the index cards as notes for art! Great work!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards! Such diversity too.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed by the depth you create in your collages and sketches. So talented!
ReplyDeleteHad a scroll through looking for your 365 journal but didn't find it - are you doing it or didn't I go far enough? Anyway, beautiful journal pages and index cards :-)

Your cards are exquisite!! I like them all...I try to do one a day but sometimes I end up doing two if I get behind.
