Wheels, Food and Beverages

We recently visited a sports bar/restaurant
called The Wicked Wheel. The menu was
called the 'Owner's Manual.' The décor is
themed around wheels...
especially motorcycles!

Had to take a photo of the 'rocking
You could even sit astride a motorcycle at
the bar, if you didn't mind being a little far away
from your beverage...
I think maybe the fellow in the dune buggy
had overstayed his welcome!

There were fabulous examples of various
brands of vintage gasoline pumps. I didn't
want to annoy the other patrons by going
around snapping more photos, so just took
this one near the front door.
James Dean seemed to think the vintage
bicycle was quite amusing. Why would
anyone ride a bike when you can ride
a motorcycle?
The food and service were excellent,
even on Super Bowl Sunday!
good times with family...

  5. I really enjoyed this post and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the rocking horse motorcycle. I want one, because I've never seen anything so clever as this.

I saw several different gas pumps and was trying to remember the Pegasus flying horse. Curiosity got the better of me, and I did an internet search and discovered it was Mobil.

LOVED this place from front to back. I so enjoyed it and was delighted and amazed to see that you actually shared a real glass of water (actually 2) with us for T this Tuesday, instead of your usual drink cups. Loved it from beginning to end, dear Dianne.

  13. Just read your comment you left about Antoine's. It was one of those splurge times when you have to bite the bullet in order to enjoy a meal that included both the food and the atmosphere. Believe me, I ate a LOT of peanut butter sandwiches in order to save enough money to eat there. Sort of like when I went to Windows of the World at the World Trade Center back in 1989, but for that, I got a reservation for lunch.

  14. What a cool restaurant, Dianne! I enjoyed the photo tour and reading your fun comments.

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  15. What a great place to visit! Glad to hear the food was good too! We are enjoying the Winter Olympics! Happy T day! Chrisx

  19. That looks like a really fun bar. I would def sit on one of the motorbikes. I used to ride pillion when my hubby had his bike when we were younger and always enjoyed it.
I bet Elizabeth would love that motorbike rocking 'horse'. What a great thing for a little kiddy.
    Happy Valentine's Day
    and a belated happy T-Day,
