More little paintings in the
small booklet that I made. Purple
Canson Mi Tientes paper bound with
chain stitch.
I have been loosely following prompts
Painting with acrylics, watercolors, and
collaging with my own painted papers.
The pages were sometimes gessoed,
sometimes not.
The book is four inches by four inches.
The theory is that the smaller size will
take less time to finish...
but sometimes it lays out on my kitchen
counter, and I look at it periodically, and
decide to make additions. And it takes
all day.
I'm thinking that maybe I should
do away with leaving the open border
around the edge...
as I did with this one.(above) Still not sure if
it's 'done.'
How do you know when you're done?

Goodness. These pages are great. I know others who are doing this challenge, but yours are the most detailed and colorful I've seen. Really lovely, and you put SO much into them. Far more than others I've seen. Great job.
ReplyDeleteBTW, did you get my envelope?
Wow, your little book paintings are amazing! I love the seamless way you have created the pages with words, fabrics, tickets, washi tape and cord - beautiful 😁. And with or without the border, they all look stunning to me! Happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊
ReplyDeleteWow! These little pages are fantastic - when I did the Spring Artmarks I set myself a 'sort-of' time limit - mainly because I had other things going on at the time and we were away too! I love all the details in yours! As for knowing when I have finished - I often carry on until I ruin something!!! Have great weekend! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I think only you can know when it's done. :)
