Tricks on Tuesday

If I designed my own travel mug...
it would have curlicues and curling leaves
and a scary pumpkin face...

a grinning cat face seems a bit creepy too.
Very toothy grins and bulging eyes...

while sipping my mocha coffee and surveying the
grinning pumpkins and cats, an old folk poem comes to mind:
"from ghoulies and ghosties and long leggity beasties
and other things that go bump in the night,
good Lord deliver us!"

  2. Oh Dianne, I LOVE that black cat. It reminds me of the mid-century modern cat clock I've seen in antique stores, where the tail wagged and the eyes rotated back and forth. The body was the clock. That cat face is very similar, at least as my sometimes muddled mind remembers it.

Thanks for sharing your lovely vintage Halloween goodies, as well as your designed mug and your mocha coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

  11. Hello and Happy T Day! Such cute art you've made again. Wish fall/Halloween time lasted longer. I didn't get to link up but wanted to say hello and see if you got my ATC in the mail. Hope it gets there safely.
The weather is gorgeous today, windows open and shorts on, YAY! Cold and rain coming later though, YUCK!
By the way do you pass out candy on Halloween or something else fun? We don't have it on our street so we drive to another part of our town.
Take care and have a good week.
