Map for the soul...
Personal Map Making challenge for
True North Arts group...
showing priorities and
precious things in my life.
Art journal page, mixed media using
pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, and
Sharpie marker. This came out looking
a little like a cross between Peter Max art
and the green heroine in "Wicked,"
but that's ok...it makes me smile.
I'm loving this!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try this myself.

What a wonderful mind map! I love all of the quotes and the colors. Beautiful! Thanks for playing.

This art makes me smile, too. Colorful, but not overpowering. I'm only sorry that I haven't been able to get to your blog sooner.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliantly original slant to the prompt..I love the way you blended the words into the image...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your interpretation of the map challenge. It is true - we ourselves are maps of where we have been and thought.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it.
Terrific. Makes me think of the famous mind map image. Doesn't come to me right now but I'm sure everyone knows what I'm thinking.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and designs.

What a talentented artist you are!! Your mind map looks very soft and gently flowing. I hope that reflects the way your mind is!!
ReplyDeleteO my Peter Max! That takes me back a few years - your wonderful Mind Map has such wonderful quotes - I see the 'live the life you have imagined' (one of my faves) among them!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such talent and soft flowing colours! Awesome job!
Blessings on your journey

So Beautiful! I was thinking of doing a mind map for this challenge, but ended up doing something reflecting the way I feel right now instead. This might just be what encourages me to try this once I've settled a little into the summer!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Elphi!

What a great idea for a map. And since this is a "Wicked" household, it's doubly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThis image raised my self awareness & my weaknesses :)
