Pandemic Pages and Projects

The Hobonichi Challenge for April is
an Alice in Wonderland theme. Above,
white roses painted red, and the White Rabbit.

Some mail art postcards

and a bunny for Easter on an envelope.

A very three dimensional Easter card, hand
delivered to the In-Laws.  Haven't been to visit
my own parents yet as they are isolating.  Hoping
the weather will warm up soon so we can go
over and sit in lawn chairs in the yard to
visit with them!

There are so many cute memes on the
internet, and I just have to steal one
sometimes. 'Steal like an artist' as they say.

Sketched daffodils from my yard for a
card to send.

I really adore the original illustrations for Alice
in Wonderland done by Sir John Tenniel.  But
of course Disney's versions are pretty amazing too!

Did you spot the coffee cups that I include on my
pages?  They are my contribution to 'T for Tuesday'
over at Altered Book Lover's blog. It's always
nice to share tea, coffee, and some conversation
with good friends!

Above, a few text pages that I've watercolored and
drawn on.  I will probably tear them up and
use for collage.  What creative projects
have you been working on?

  4. Nice to see you back for T Dianne. I enjoyed all the art, and I especially liked your quote about how you find all those fun supplies while cleaning. That happens to me, as well as many folks, I am sure. But good to see it in writing. Hope you are staying healthy. Hugs-Erika

  7. Well Dianne, I love the rabbit after Tenniel. I've never seen the ones by Disney, I guess. I've really missed your drawings, colorings, and sketches. I love reading about your daily life and even the coffee cups and breakfast. Beautiful art and great coffee images for T this Tuesday.

Yes, I'm going to play at ICAD again this year. I cut 3 X 5 cards from used file folders. I swear those folders multiply while I sleep. I haven't purchased index cards in two years. I hope you find a way to join. You don't really NEED index cards to play, at least in my opinion.

I love the Alice in Wonderland stuff too, and the daffodils are there to brighten up my day.
I know where you are coming from when you say it is so difficult to clean and tidy the craft room. I have the same problem that I keep finding things.
Being a lover of postcards, of course I loved the little rabbit on the card. Precious!

  17. Oh, thank you so much for a time warp to the last movie my Brother and I saw with our Mum, Alice in Wonderland...

Beautifully done! Our surname translated is Emperor, so the last work of yours really made it as my fav. Thank you. I miss her.... That darn cancer takes so many people away, we need Alice to dream a bit!

  19. I realize I didn't visit you last week. Again, I enjoyed enlarging and reading every detail that you journaled. Reading everything that you have written has made me wish that I had started journaling this experience. I just can't get into it right now though. So glad that you have shared your pages.
