When we left for our Florida vacation
on the last day of January, our driveway
looked like this, and it was four below zero.
When we arrived in Panama City Beach, it
was about 65 degrees, and the sun was shining.
Your really get spoiled when it's
almost 70 degrees...
The time goes by all too quickly!
But alas, we had to return home to
cold and gray Ohio.
When hubby picked up our mail at the Post Office,
I was thrilled to discover a wonderful envelope
from dear Elizabeth! Just look
at that fabric, scrumptious handmade papers,
and lovely tip-in pages! So sweet
of you. Thanks so much
dear friend!
Happy Mardi Gras to those who are
celebrating... is it Spring yet? In shock here
since it's currently 18 degrees and snowing.
I got spoiled by the warm Florida
weather.
Linking up for T Tuesday over at
Bleubeard and Elizabeth's, where we share
a beverage and a chat. Have you noticed I
pretty much automatically draw my coffee
cup every morning in my Hobonichi?

WOW, your neighborhood looked like mine looks now. I'm loving the pages you shared, but was sad to read you got sick just as the fog lifted on your life and the beach.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked the goodies. I was hoping you would work with the fabric before Halloween so it would trigger some ideas for me. BTW, the 2 cent and 5 cent stamps are no longer going to be available at the PO. Mine ran out and I had to use different ones. In a way, I wish they hadn't given me the old ones. I like the new 5 cent stamps much better. Your Mardi Gras entry is beautiful AND your fleur-de-lis is so much prettier than mine (and I used a stamp!). Thanks for sharing all those cups of coffee, herbal tea and soup with us for T this Tuesday.
Wonderful photos, glad you were able to enjoy a sunny vacation. Your journal pages are great as always. Happy T day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYour journal pages always look amazing with so many great images. After leaving the snow behind it must have been a wonderful holiday in the warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteHappy T day wishes.

It must have been lovely to vacation in Florida considering the snow at home! Your pages are stunning and I love all the detail in your drawing, the shells and flamingo are fabulous 😁. Happy T Day! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteOh wow Dianne- looks like we had the same experiences at the same time! It was even warmer where I was in North Palm Beach- but then, any warmth and sunshine is better than snow and cold, eh...just wonderful to get away and have a break:)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your pages and super illustrations!! Happy T day!
Wow you left for a vacation at the perfect time-nice to be able to get away with a break from winter.
ReplyDeleteLove your art journal pages
Happy T Hugs Kathy
another wonderful sketchbook diary entries! regretfully it was so much fog in flamingo state... but i hope you recovered from your cold meanwhile. photos of palms always make me so jealous! welcome back and happy t-day!
ReplyDeleteI bet you had a lovely holiday in the sun and warmth (Ok, with some fog and mist...). You really need it after so much snow. I'm sorry to hear your asthma played up and you got larynghitis. Not exactly what you want when you are on vacation.
ReplyDeleteYour pages are great and I love spending time reading them.
Re your book The Battle of the Labyrinth, I haven't read any of the series, but I like fantasy novels so I might have to get onto the bandwagon too with that one.
Happy (belated) T-Day,
Lisca
Wonderful photos and I love your calendar art. It is beautiful. (I wish I could draw.) You definitely got spoiled with that warm FL weather. What a shock to come back to bitterly cold Winter in OH, right? (It's about as bad here in CT.) But you received a nice surprise in the mail. I hope your cold improves. Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteFlorida, yes please :) It warms me up just to look at your photos lol Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to escape that cold, isn't it? I love seeing your Florida sketches. Did you actually see flamingos? Hope it was a happy T day. Hugs-Erika
