Tales of Camping

Just returned from a short
camping trip to visit
Son and Family...
(click on any image to enlarge)

we are getting to be physically
challenged by sleeping on
air mattresses in a tent!

A peaceful campsite by a river
makes all the effort worth it. Plus
good times with family!

I've been enjoying making Fall
doodles in my Hobonichi...
My daily pages do 'double duty'
as participation in iHanna's
"365 somethings 2018"
daily art project.

Linking up with the T party

P.S.  It ended up that our tent was relatively
dry when we packed up. There's usually
a bit of dampness from the dew, which is
fine. Sopping wet, not so good. This
time we didn't have to set the
tent back up to dry when
we got home!

  1. Lovely journaling! I had to laugh at your comment about being physically challenged by sleeping on an air mattress. We had to sleep on an air mattress on vacation when I was pregnant with my youngest and I came away with the worst backache. Getting older stinks but air mattresses are a challenge no matter what age one may be. At least you were able to spend time with your family!
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

  4. I just love your journal. Always so many wonderful things to look at. Camping isn't my thing. Did it when I was younger, but now, camping is a good hotel. My favorite of your drawings were the black cats at the bottom of the page. Happy T Day

  6. Wonderful journal pages, Dianne. I love your tip-ins and all the watercolor work. Just lovely. It sounds like you had a fun but exhausting camping trip.

I only camped in our backyard with siblings and friends when we were young. I don't think that really counts. We went inside to grab food and use the bathrooms or when somebody got a boo-boo. lol.

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  8. Camping sounds fun, but I know what you mean about sleeping in a tent. There is something nice about getting away from it all though. Enjoyed your journal pages -I always do. Hope it was a ncie T day. Hugs-Erika

  9. I apologize for being so late, but the electricity on my block went out many hours ago just as I was commenting on Lisca’s post. So anyone who linked after Eileen gets this apology message.

I always love reading your journal pages. Had to laugh at the air mattress. That's why I sleep in my car. I'm into comfort, not sleeping on the ground.

I had NO idea you were doing Hannah's 365 somethings. I loved reading about your lists, your food, and always how you have your morning coffee. I loved the pumpkin, too.

Thanks for sharing these vacation days, your Bucket List, and your trip to different malls, as well as your coffee with us for T this Tuesday (OOPS, Wednesday).
