T Stands for Two Words

The two words are
INFLUENZA GERMS.

Not much happening here...
except for Hubby and I nursing
each other's symptoms.
And tea. Lots and lots of tea.

Me wearing my husband's bathrobe

But I'm actually feeling somewhat
better now. It's been about 11 days.  Pretty
discouraging when people tell you
they've been trying to get well
for over a month though.  And I had the
flu shot!

But it's part of life, and we do the
best we can, right?  We gotta have

I'll be honest. Staying home for 10 days
straight made me pretty stir crazy. But
I'm on the mend. Hope you and yours are
staying healthy and are doing fine.
Appropriately linking up, belatedly,
for Bleubeard and Elizabeth's T Day, as
lemon, raspberry, and green teas have
been my main beverages this week!

  2. So sorry you have been ill they are saying the flu shot does not protect you from the worse flu going on but will protect you from the other two flus going around. we are seniors so are staying away from people as much as we can.
glad you are feeling better Happy T Day Kathy

  3. This flu has been wicked! We've avoided it so far, but it seems to hang on for people who get it. I'm glad you're feeling better :) Happy T Tuesday!

  5. I feel for you, dear. I have something I can't shake, but I don't think it's the flu. I've had it for over a month, too. However, I am feeling better than when I first felt bad.

I suggested to Eileen to talk to you about the trouble she's having with her paper she used or bought for her planner. Maybe you have some good ideas. I STILL have no idea what a PLANNER is and how it differs from an art journal calendar. But it seems to be the big buzz word for 2018.

I adore the photo of your husband and his mug. He looks so cute in his PJs and robe. Thanks for sharing your fabulous art and drinks with us for T this Tuesday. And thanks for joining in even though you have been sick.

    1. That's actually supposed to be ME wearing my hubby's bathrobe! It's very fluffy and comfy, so I appropriated it.

  6. Hope you feel better soon Dianne. They say the flu is bad this year, but sounds like you are handling it the best way possible. Your germ drawings and your hubby made me smile. I think all sick men look similar. :) Take care of yourself and happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  9. So sorry you and your hubby have been feeling under the weather. Too bad you didn't catch the cute little germies you drew. I bet you wouldn't have felt as bad. Hope more tea, rest, and your hubby's comfy terry cloth robe do the trick soon.

  14. Great post, Dianne, despite the subject. Sorry you've been bitten and hope you have more resilience than those other people who just can't kick the bug.

I'm also sorry to be so late getting to you. In fact, I wouldn't have known you linked if you hadn't come over to my blog to give me some tips about my ink bleed problem. Thank you very much for the great info! If I make it consistently through 2018, there may be a Hobonichi Techo in my future ;-)

    Belated happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

P.S. You also helped me discover that I missed Kate at the party as well!

  15. Bummer that you came down with the nasty bug! It's been a really bad year for that . Glad you are on the mend. We have mild colds here but we are being diligent with the extra fluids and immune boosters just in case. Your journal page looks amazing as always!

so far no influenca here, fingers crossed (i have the flu shot too, but heard it would not be that helpful this year...)
fun to read you are cross stitching! i just found my old box of finished and unfinished pieces on the attic and i think i will make some smaller pieces for my scroll Journal, too. a choice of variety.
so come back to normal asap and take care!

  17. Glad to hear you are feeling better! I love your journals. I have wanted to do one for MANY years, but my lack of drawing skills have held me back. However, 2018 is the year and I have started. Any tips???
