December Drawings

December drawings from my Hobonichi
A6 planner. Some are inspired by the

Hobonichi Challenge, (found on Instagram)
and some not.

Because I've been away from the blog
for several weeks, there are a lot
of images to share. Grab a warm
beverage and I hope you will enjoy!

My parents 65th Anniversary Party (mentioned
above) was a success, and we were
so glad they enjoyed the evening and got
to visit with so many family and friends.

If you fancy visiting other bloggers for
a beverage and a chat, stop by Elizabeth
and Bleubeard's blog. Every Tuesday,
Altered Book Lover shares her
crafting enterprises, museum visits, and
restaurant adventures. Stop by!

Wishing you a
Happy Holiday Season,
whatever you celebrate!

  1. I'm so glad you posted. I've been really worried about you. I don't even know where to start because this post is filled with so much joy and holiday spirit.

I was delighted to read your parents anniversary went so well, and of course, I adore your beautiful paintings. They certainly scream color to me. But what surprised me the most was the cake topper was still in good shape after 65 years. Amazing.

Thanks for sharing your truly incredible journal pages with us for T this week and I love the hot chocolate with the marshmallows. Merry merry Christmas, too, dear friend. May all you wish for in 2018 come true, too. I hope you like your new Fitbit. Technology is a blessing and a curse.

  4. Hi Dianne,

I came by to check on you because I hadn't seen you at T for a while and - to be honest - I miss your art ;-) So how did I miss that you were at T on the 24th? I don't know, but please accept my apologies for stopping by so late. It was my birthday as well as Christmas Eve.

While you were celebrating your parents' 65th, my hubby and I were celebrating our 50th. I'm so glad the party went well. We had a wonderful celebration as well.

I love what you shared today - or on the 24th ;-) and wish I could take an online journaling course from you. The Yogi Berra quote is classic. I also love the candle in a bowl, the wreath of branches and the girl with Ferdinand the bull - just to name a few. OMGosh, I forgot to mention the wonderful Flexible Flyer! I had one of those.

Wishing you the best in 2018 and I hope to see you next T-day!

    Hugs, Eileen
