Special thanks to Diana, who created
the background for this piece: layers of
assorted papers, including music, scrapbook,
and text from a book. I completed the
piece with images that are
piece with images that are
color copies of watercolors I did several
years ago, based on vintage Halloween.
Added some off-white acrylic paint over
the papers, stamped swirls, then adhered
images cut from cardstock copies.
Text written in marker. Black inked
the edges, and then decided to add

find it difficult to pull off,
so I tried not to over think
Oh, great idea on using up images that don't fit. The pages are lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... I love, LOVE, LOVE that jack-o-lantern face!!! You craked me up!
ReplyDeleteMichelle rocks! And this mix is nice. I really like your Halloween piece, too.
ReplyDeleteI mean, both mixes are nice, but I like the bottom one better of the two.
ReplyDeleteI think because I"m working on a grid sketchbook right now, so I'm drawn to the graphic.
This is gorgeous, Dianne. Sorry I'm so late getting here, but I finally took time to sit and see what I had missed in blogland. Your jack-o-lantern face is adorable, as is all your art.
