Showing some drawings in my
Hobonichi Techo (planner) again.
Featuring some drawings of lamps,
because it's dark and rainy here in
Ohio today!
The March Hobonichi Challenge was
"Around the House." Above, I've drawn our
refrigerator which is covered with lots
of photos, notes, and drawings by
grandchildren, as I suspect
may be the case in other homes also.
By necessity it's simplified, as the
drawing is about 1 1/2 inches high.
Our family enjoyed a very nice Easter
gathering and feast at my parents'
home. Always thankful when family
gets together. Loved the label from the
fresh pineapple that I bought for my
Easter fruit bowl! Maybe it's a bit
weird to have Avengers on the page
for Easter, but no stranger than Snow
on Easter! Mother Nature had to
'spring' an April Fool joke on us
I guess...
I hope you will visit my other blog,
to follow along in April for my
Fake Journal this year!
Linking up for T Tuesday over at
Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog.
Stop by for a great tutorial about
rusting fabric!

I always enjoy your journaling. I have a table lamp much like the one you show, but the glass shade broke and I can't find a replacement that fits. The floor lamp with the table attached would be handy I think, but I've never had one. Lamps are the perfect theme for these dreary, rainy days :) Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteBeautiful journaling pages. Your hand writing it spectacular! My boys would enjoy that pineapple label. They love The Avengers.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
I always enjoy reading your wonderful journal. But what are girl scout cookies? I tried for ages to get a new glass shade for my lamp and eventually found one at a flea market for a few cents. Have a fun week and happy T day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteValerie~ Girl Scouts is a youth organization for girls (similar to Boy Scouts) and every year they sell cookies for a fund raiser. In the US the cookies are pretty legendary-quite yummy!
DeleteHi, I always love your drawings. we are quite cold here too in sw Missouri where it is usually nice and warm by now tonight again back in the 20s with very strong winds-no fun for sure.
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day Kathy
Wonderful pages and super sketches, I liked the daffodils and the fridge art. Its been snowing here in the UK [north] as well .
ReplyDeleteHappy t day wishes.

Such wonderful pages! I love the little bunny and your lily drawings 😁. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your Easter celebrations with your family despite the snow! We have warmer weather here so I'm hoping spring has sprung 😀. Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J 😊 x
ReplyDeletealways a treat to see your planner pages filled with your busy life and fabulous drawings! We used to have a floor lamp like that:) Yes, we have the same weather as you- enough of the snow already! perhaps one of these days some spring flowers will show up...happy T day!
ReplyDeleteSome days I want to throw my keyboard in the trash. I am so late visiting because it quit and took me forever to get it to work again. So, no, the keyboard isn't working properly.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to guessing who you are during Fake Journal Month.
When I redid my kitchen, I got rid of all the magnets, etc. on my fridge. Now I keep it clean and magnet free. Can't say the same for my metal cabinet in my craft room, though (grin).
I'm thrilled you got the package. It was almost in time for NEXT Halloween (grin).
Thanks for sharing your journal pages and coffee cup/mugs (and lovely lily, too) with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.
These are lots of fun. I stopped by and checked out your counterfeit journal too. You make the best little sketches (unlike my sad attempts of drawing that are really doodling). Hope you've been having a happy T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove your drawings. Good for you doing Zumba. Mini-me and I did a class once. We both found out how uncoordinated we are. I laughed so hard I almost pee'd my pants. LOL
