Scrapbook on T Tuesday

Now that the gifts have been opened, I am able
to share a few pages of the Fall scapbook that I made
from our October 2013 trip to Tennessee.

Dunbar Cave Natural Area was really lovely when we
were there.  The cave is not actually
open to visitors right now, as there seems
to be a problem with bat droppings.
But the lake and trees were lovely...

I enjoyed the hike through the trees...

Turtles sunning themselves on logs...click on the photo for
a better look.  It's easy to miss the turtles. They look like
a part of the log from a distance!

Unlike much of my collage work, I tend to keep my
scrapbooks simple so that the photos are the main attraction.

Posting a bit early
Wishing everyone a
Happy and Prosperous New Year!

  1. Beautiful scrapbook pages--you are so right about making the photos the center of attention--they really stand out on your pages.

I love the quote about coffee and mornings! Mine would go..."All the morning in the world will not make me a coffee person!"

Wishing you a very happy 2014!

  2. Whoa, Dianne. I had NO idea you made scrapbooks. These pages are superb. I learn something new each time I visit.

I love the coffee cup. That saying is PERFECT, too. I've actually become a late night person, so what can I say, other than I'll drink it 24/7.

Again, love, love, love those pages, especially the one of the turtles.

  3. You scrapbook too, what a nice surprise to find out. Love them all, especially since they are of my favorite season. I like the focus on the pictures too, so many simple pages in my albums also.
Love the cup and saying, so cute!
Have a HAPPY AND SAFE AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!

Your scrapbook is perfect! I usually keep all the collage stuff out of my scrapbooks too.

  7. Good thing you didn't go in the caves if there a smelly toxic bat poop problem--LOL! But the rest looks gorgeous! Of all the different things I've tried I've never gotten into scrapbooking. Maybe one day.
Happy T-Day and Happy New Year! :)
