Watercolors in my Art Journals
Sketched and painted my afternoon snack,
homemade multigrain bread and a cheese stick.
Smash journal page.
Pen and watercolor bird on a scrap of
watercolor paper, some journaling, and
pen work in the borders.
Doodling is therapeutic...
Wet in wet watercolor cattails...
added to a Smash journal page with
some other scraps. Cross-stitched birds,
buttons, a quote and a bit of fabric & ribbon.

Beautiful work!
Debbie, each of your journal pages are like jewels. I love all of the detail you put into them - cross-stitched birds, lovely watercolors, beautiful line work...each one tells a different story and it is wonderful to look at them and try to discover all of the elements in them. Lovely post! Hugs, Terri

It is wonderful to see all of your artful pages!
Wonderful pages! It looks like a fascinating journal.
Your watercolors are so beautiful! The cattails are really so lovely.
Wonderful pages!! I had to smile as it is early Saturday morning here in the Netherlands and I hadn't have breakfast yet... your first drawing made that clear! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, enjoy your weekend.
I love your sketches and especially the complements of the pen work on the side.
Love the cattails! Well truth be told I love all the pages but the cattails really stand out to me. :)
Thanks to all for visiting and leaving a comment!
Beautiful pages! Love the food one especially - what a neat idea.
These are delicate and awesome sketches. I love the watercolory look of them.
Dianne, I enjoyed seeing the various types of art you are doing. I especially liked the sandwich and the bird. Those drawings/paintings are similar to what Tracey Fletcher King does. Really beautiful works.
